Why do people lie? Oh sure, I understand when people lie to get themselves out of a jam -- doesn't mean I accept it -- but when there is absolutely no reason to lie, why do people do it?
I think it's a sickness.
I only lie to myself. Never friends or even strangers.

Well I try not to and I hate being lied to as well.
I have probably lied by ommission though which is still not a good thing.
