I'm forgetful. I'm old. I have a phobia about having my hair cut. I'm just plain weird. Better than being weird weird.

That's not me up there, but I'm pretty damn pathetic day. My day off and I spend doing nothing productive. I played Pogo for way too long. Why is this site so addictive? Playing Pogo accomplishes nothing but passage of time. While I'm playing I will surf around on the internet doing ridiculous searches at Yahoo or Google. I have the TV on in the background and find that all this frenetic activity just wears me out. So, I took a nap or two or three. I wake up and check email, look outside, go back to surfing.

I did sign-up for the live feeds for Big Brother 6 today. There's another pathetic part of my life. More hours wasted. But gosh reading everyone's interpretation of what I'm watching on the live feeds is a laugh riot for me. I generally read about the live feeds over at Survivor Sucks where some truly sick folks post. Can't say why I find so many pathetic people uproariously funny, but I do. Perhaps because I are one.

But the good news is that it was a relatively pain-free day and that's always a good thing. I did have a little tummy trouble and some allergies kick in but that has all passed now. Thank you Remicade. You see I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and while I had learned to live with psoriasis, it was a happy union. This spring, when I was finally diagnosed with PA, my rheumatologist immediately prescribed MTX and Remicade. To say that I was a scared would be an understatement. I was really afraid of the MTX because I was thinking that all the negative side effects would happen to me. I just knew I'd lose my hair or I'd be sick all the time, but so far... nothing! Oh, except an end to the pain and all the scaliness of the psoriasis is gone. These drugs are miracles.

Not much else (as if any of the above is anything) is going on my life today. I'll be going to bed soon (HAH!) and ending the night by reading The Rule of Four which I think I will be reading for a very long time. I'm finding it terribly boring. But it does put me to sleep.

And with that it's good night.
